Bold provides surveillance solutions to Enigma

ARC alarm, CCTV software and alarm receivers installed at video receiving centre

Bold Communications

Security and building services company, Enigma Group, have selected leading software supplier Bold Communications to provide all their monitoring systems at their new, BS: 5979, Cat II remote video receiving centre in the North East.

With a wide client base in the automotive services and building management sector, Enigma’s requirement was to provide a complete, nationwide, range of services, including guarding, cleaning, together with remote alarm and CCTV monitoring. Because of the diverse range of clients and the mix of different security systems, the challenge was design a solution which could support all of them. This meant that Bold’s brief was to deliver a truly integrated solution, handling all alarm types, communications methods and a wide range of remote CCTV surveillance systems.

Bold Managing Director Brian Kelly, commented "The commercial central station is the one place where the effectiveness of system integration is truly tested. Add to that - space limitations, useability, system support and the need to create as efficient an operating environment as possible, and you have some work to do. We have been pleased to have the opportunity to work with Enigma to help them deliver a world class integrated monitoring solution for their clients."

The system delivered by Bold includes their latest ARC alarm and CCTV management software, together with Bold RX3000 multi-protocol, multi-mode alarm receivers.

"Before committing to Bold, we reviewed all the available options. We found there simply isn’t anybody else that can deliver the kind of solution available from Bold, and their professional project and support approach gave us great confidence. We know that as our business grows, Bold can keep scaling up and extending our system to effectively meet the needs of our clients, Enigma General Manager John Proudman said"
